Who are you and AMS Surveys?Â
I’m Anthony Spencer. I’m the Director of AMS Surveys. We’re a Chartered Building surveying practice based in Liverpool covering the North West region.

What were the challenges you faced before Survey Booker?Â
The challenges I faced before using Survey Booker having been a new company was ensuring that everything was to an auditable standard and record keeping which was a lot of laborious administration and that ultimately ate into the profits initially.

How does Survey Booker help you?Â
Since implementing Survey Booker it’s allowed us to follow the same logical process for every client. It’s all so drastically improved our efficiency of dealing with clients enquiries, turning around quotes and just the general administration side of things which has allowed us a lot more time to just spend talking to clients and obviously carrying out the day job of going on doing surveys and project work.

How much time have you saved on admin?
Having implemented Survey Booker from pretty much the onset of starting the business, it’s difficult to say exactly how much time being saved. However, given that it’s so much quicker to produce an automated quote and follow-ups, I’d say easily over a day a week in administrative tasks but it’s also allowed us to take on consultants as well as full-time staff and grow rapidly.

How much have your sales grown?Â
It’s allowed us to grow significantly with numerous consultants as well as employing permanent staff. We’re also now part of a panel management so across the board we’ve grown from just me initially and to several staff and now business to business.

How has Survey Booker helped your engage customers?Â
Survey Booker has also really helped us engaging with our customers and another businesses that we work with as well as our own team. Predominantly due to it being system and automation, a lot of our clients really like the fact that they can log into the portal and they can see exactly where the jobs up to but there’s a there’s a multitude of ways that you can communicate your clients and in the new era. You’ve got text messaging as well as email responses and you can log phone calls on there so you really can tailor what’s the best way of speaking to your clients as well as staff being able to update jobs in real time whilst on site carrying out surveys.

What have you been most impressed with?
I suppose the thing I’ve most been impressed with with Survey Booker is it’s Keep It Simple Stupid approach. From a client perspective we very rarely have people who can’t navigate round the system and find updates and likewise onboarding new staff, it’s a relatively intuitive system to use with minimal questions and training and required in order to get people au fait with the system and working with it straight away.

Would you recommend Survey Booker?Â
I’d definitely recommend Survey Booker to others due to its scalability. It’s been able to grow as we’ve grown but also, it’s reasonably priced and even for a small firm of one person it would still make massive benefits.
